[ILUG] Window resizing in Gnome

I am trying to sent the junk mail controls in Thunderbird but I cannot 
size the junk mail window on the scren to allow me to click the "OK" 
button at the bottom of the window.  The window ends hlf way through the 
"junk mail log" button.  The monitor AST Vision 7L is recognised by 
gnome as is the graphics card but no amount of changing screen 
resolutions or moving the imagae around on the screen will allow access 
to the OK button.

Amy ideas?
