[ILUG] Wireless access to TCD network

[ILUG] Wireless access to TCD network

Hi,

Is there anybody familiar with setting up wireless access to TCD
network. I'm a student there, but I requested support from the
helpdesk, and they didn't seem to know anything about dealing with
Linux + WPA. I tried myself, but without success (sorry I don't have
the logs for wpa_supplicant here, I'm writing from work).

My distro is Debian (Sid), and I have wpa_supplicant installed.
Hardware is an Acer Laptop, with 802.11b working nicely whenever wpa
is not required... O:-)

Since this is a private network, I also welcome backchannel email, if
actual details of the network are required, which may not be suitable
to publish for the whole internet to see.

Thank you,

Jordi Jané
