The TCD Linux users group is probably the best place to ask:
http://www.tcd.ie/ITSecurity/software/linux.php#adiit2

I assume you've read http://isservices.tcd.ie/network/wireless.php
and are aware of the Cisco restriction.

I'm not sure if they enforce this in practice.

There are some ISS people on here who may reply off-list.

Also, if you are in CS, they have their own network
(can't find a valid link for this, but try http://support.cs.tcd.ie
using the TCD proxy or when next on the TCD LAN.)

Good luck!
