Well, it works OK for me, except that it insists I answer this question
(about "page rank", whatever that is)
every time I start up firefox.
Also, when it was first installed
firefox turned German, with all the menu items, etc, in that language.
But firefox recovered from that when I re-booted.
I guess I ought to un-install the google toolbar (but how?)
and re-install it.
I read about the google toolbar on Linux Lockergnome,
<http://channels.lockergnome.com/linux/archives/20050725_toolbars_for_firefox_in_linux.phtml>
which also offered a Yahoo toolbar.
It wasn't clear if this was an alternative to the Google toolbar,
or if one could have both.
In any case, I declined to try it after my bad experience with google.
