[ILUG] Filesystem for LVM

[ILUG] Filesystem for LVM

(Sorry last post missing the title)

Following on from my problems with resizing an ext3 partition, I've
decided to go with LVM.
My logical volume is created now, and I'm about to put a filesystem on it.
Given that the logical volume is currently 25GB and I will be extending it
to approx 220GB once data is moved to it, what filesystem should I use?
I'd prefer to stick with ext3 because I know it, but can I be guaranteed
that I'll be able to extend the filesystem given my provious hassles?

Any input appreciated.
Steve
