turnout seemed better in october. however that may have been due to the
closed/open mailing list vote.
to encourage participation this time, i'd like to propose a vote for the
next agm:
debian is the official distribution of the irish linux user's group.
this means that all questions on the mailing list will be assumed to
relate to debian systems unless specifically stated otherwise.
all servers run by and for ilug must run debian.
the official ilug answer to, "which distro should i use?" is
"debian." such topics usually lead to drawn out flame wars on the
list so from now on that is the only answer allowed on the list or
on the linux.ie irc channels.
