but by choice, rather than by an AGM Mandate. After all freedom, and
choice are what Linux, GNU, and for that matter Debian, are all about.
For that reason I think your motion is at a certain level
self-contradicting.
Furthermore I think it would be a mistake to alienate other Distros,
like Redhat, Slakware, SuSE, Mandr(ake|iva), etc, and the teams who
put them together.
Just to clarify that, how rigid will our defination of "Debian" be:
Will it include spin-offs like Ubuntu? If so, then what about other
spin-off's like Linspire? Sometimes, especially if you don't include
ubuntu in the defination Debian quite simply isn't always the right
tool for the job. As for Linspire.........
