I'm sure you could not have any legal responsibility (if you were believed).
This would be like saying that if someone stole your car
and used it in a bank robbery
you would be responsible for the robbery.
Even if you left the car open with the key in place
you might be very stupid but you wouldn't be guilty of anything.
