Does anyone have any experience with a linux based antispam solution
called copperfast? It costs 3 grand apparantly.
Its for a friend of mine in a pure MS house. They are looking for an
anti-spam solution to sit in front of the exchange server.
I was recomending good 'ol spamassassin & the Brucey Bonus of clamav with
their sendmail milters. The idea would be to get a low end box (raided of
course) - and use sendmail as a mailhub which strips viruses & spam
(thinking of using ilugs greylisting idea - and yes I'll be looking for
help on that one), prior to forwarding the mail to the exchange server.
Would this be a good idea for a large site?
They currently have zero linux servers, but they head sysadmin is well
smart. He would have no problems getting around linux.
Regards
Conor.
