[ILUG] Modules and Grub?

[ILUG] Modules and Grub?

Hi all,

I installed a wireless card driver with the ndiswrapper module.

The ndiswrapper module doesn't work unless i load the ehci_hcd module with
log2_irq_thresh=4.

Only problem is, now the system tries to start ndiswrapper right at boot
without ehci_hcd loading with the log2... option. The ndiswrapper makes
booting up hang.

So i reckon possible solutions would be:

1) get grub to instruct the kernel how to load ehci_hcd.

2) get grub to instruct the kernel not to use the ndiswrapper module.

Question is: how?

I only have a hazy notion of what can be done with grub, so I'm not sure if
it's even possible...

Thanks alot,

John.
