[ILUG] where are the Irish "Summer of Code" entrants?

How long ago? I graduated in 2001, and it was pretty abysmal anyway.

I also find the idea of 'choosing X degree first' a little disturbing.
Surely you should hire based on merit, not where the person went to
college?
