Hello,
I recently (today :) switched from woody to sarge on my home router.
It works nicely and i have my new DSL provider's modem (Smart) doing
bridging so the Debian handles proper security.
My problem is that since kernel 2.6 (using
2.6.11.12-grsecurity-2.1.6), radvd (ipv6 advertisement) no longer
works as before, i now get :
radvd[13997]: version 0.7.3 started
radvd[13997]: can't open /proc/net/if_inet6: Permission denied
radvd[13997]: syntax error in config file: /etc/radvd.conf
I was also using grsec on a 2.4 kernel before without a hitch, has
anyone seen that ?
And yes, my v6 setup is enabled and works (using sixxs).
Steph
