I agree with this too... and when I made the initial request I was
firmly under the impression that it would be 100% legal for anyone with
a legit copy to make SO 5.2 available to me.
The reason I specifically need SO 5.2 is that I am in the middle of an
MBS thesis that is looking at the use of SO in Irish organisations. My
main research site is still using SO 5.2 on most of its desktops, and
the problems they are experiencing seem to be specific to SO 5.2. I was
hoping to install SO 5.2 on my laptop to look more closely at some of
these "problems" and get screenshots etc.
I have SO 7 at the moment but I am under the impression that there are
significant differences between 7 and 5.2?
