Well not a total red herring, I could recieve mail until i configured smtp
auth.
both the mailboxs and the domains are in the relevant files
virtual_mailbox_domains = /etc/postfix/vhosts.txt
virtual_mailbox_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/vmaps.txt
and the box has started rejecting mail for them. It worked perfectly
until smtp-auth was turned on.
Im completely puzzled by it, I cant figure out why its not working. If I use
smtp-auth
to connect and send its gets delivered, so it knows the users and mailboxes
are there,
it just refuses to let not smtp-auth mails through.
