It doesn't look hopeful really.
The few MEPs who replied to my most recent rant to them indicated
only they were only considering matters - none replied to say their
position was firmly against. Previously, that time prior to the EP
vote, several did reply to say they would be voting against.
Building up a "patent commons" through Free and Open Source licence
requirements seems best way forward to me..
