[ILUG] recommendation for virtual private servers

[ILUG] recommendation for virtual private servers

Can anyone here recommend a good hosting provider
for a vps (i.e. uml/zen/virtuozzo server) to run debian
sarge on. I have been hosting with tektonic.net , but they have
turned out to be incompetents of the highest order. The server
was rooted 8 days ago. I realized within an hour , got a fresh
backup of the data, and then the machine crashed while I was
waiting for a response from tektonic. I request they wipe the
machine so I could start again. 8 days later through a series
of bumbling moves they have not been able to carry out that
simple request. Obviously I am moving elsewhere and cancelling
the account. And I would advise anyone considering them to
rip out their own eyes rather than deal with them.

That aside, is there anyone here using a similar service where
they actually respond to support calls? I need to find a
replacement asap, but I dont want to wander blindly into the
arms of another bunch of cowboys.

Thanks

Sean
