Folks,
KDE 3.4 was released this week. I am putting together a press release
for Ireland which will also announce KDE.ie and the KDE Irish
translation.
There are two sections on KDE.ie where I need YOUR help (and you will be
rewarding with a link and free advertisement on KDE.ie and
enterprise.kde.org for your trouble):
1) The commercial section (http://www.kde.ie/commercial.php). If your
company offers any KDE services (support, consulting, open source or
proprietary KDE s/w development, etc) then fill in this simple form:
http://enterprise.kde.org/bizdir/addbiz.php
2) Success stories/case studies (http://www.kde.ie/case_studies.php).
This is a Linux list so presumably there are many of you in
organisations or companies where KDE is used on the desktop. If so,
then please fill out this form:
http://enterprise.kde.org/bizcase/addcase.php
Please try and be detailed/informative with the case study/success
story.
Content will be mirrored on both KDE::Enterprise and KDE.ie. Contact
details and a link will be included (good for Google ranking).
There has been a talk lately on this list about the press' bias to
commercial software and companies. Well here's a chance (with little
overhead) to start evening the balance.
Cheers,
Barry
