 FWIW, `kvim' is included in SUSE (9.1) and seems to work
 fine out-of-the-box.  however, I do not use it (nor `gvim')
 as I have found vim(1) in a terminak window (e.g., xterm(1),
 mlterm(1), `konsole', &tc) _much_ easier to use.
