As "to google" seems to be well on its way to becoming a verb (Girl 1 :
"I met this cute guy last night" Girl 2 : "Did you google him yet?")
surely a googler would be somebody who uses google, rather than just a
Google employee (who is presumably also a googler). Perhaps googlyte
would be a suitable alternative? The resemblance to acolyte is not
accidental.
