OK,

I use evolution 2.2, which is great for my needs. It syncs with a Palm
Pilot by default, but can sync with other devices using multisync:
http://multisync.sf.net/ and I use multisync to sync it with my phone
over Bluetooth.

The calendar and contact functionality is good, and I like the way that
instant messenger data is now included in contact data, so people in the
address book can be added to GAIM.

It also works with the excellent contact lookup applet which sits in the
Gnome panel, and has a typeahead find for contacts in your address book,
when you need the odd phone number.

The Spam filtering is slow however, so I'd recommend another solution
there, such a spamassassin running on a mail server etc.

HTH,

Phil
