	Therein lies the TRAP of e-mail groups. The original posting was a
succinctly stated, factual description of a series of events, involving
Dell and Damien's inability to get satisfaction from them on the matter
of some repair to a machine he had purchased from them; despite having
paid extra for a support contract to cover such an eventuality.

	There was no bitching. I would (hesitantly) suggest that the only
bitching so far on the two threads that seem to have spawned from this
is related to the irrelevance as to whether it's appropriate for someone
from HP to be disappointed in Dell, and to state so publicly.

	If Damien had NOT posted from his HP address, guaranteed there would
have been an even 'cattier' reply from someone, suggesting that since
Damien works for a competitor of Dell, he should state this in his mail
- - to allay bias (or some such thing...) You're damned if you do, and
you're damned if you don't...

	I merely offer this e-mail as food for thought. I'll not go into
whether I think anyone's actions are wrong or right, ethically,
religiously, racially, grammatically or otherwise.
