If you follow a link included in my previous mail you get to:
http://www.brandonhutchinson.com/Fedora_apt_and_yum_repositories.html
This suggests trying the fedora.us+livna combination.
k3b is part of fedora.us (fedora extras) and there are mp3
bits at livna.

So in summary, configure these repositories in your yum.conf
as documented in those links. A direct link to the info is:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Extras_2fUsingExtras

Then just `yum install k3b`

Environment variables

VAR=value command #for command only
VAR=value         #for this shell only
export VAR=value #for this shell and child processes

Environment variables can never be passed to parent processes
It's useful to set environment variables like above in
startup files. To get details for bash do:
info bash "Bash Features" "Bash Startup Files"
