Particularly because so many people feel obliged to chip in and 
whinge about length of threads - when it's barely a few hours old at 
that!

The confusion around, and implications of, RHEL's "licencing" / support
contract is (IMHO) quite on-topic for this list. The original poster 
perhaps could have done more research..

Threaded email clients are plentiful, and I believe nearly all have a 
"delete this mail" function - try using them next time.
