I've been running Ubuntu on my IBM ThinkPad T22 and its trouble free. =

Ubuntu is my first encounter with a Debian-based distro. Currently, my =

setup is a triple boot with WinXP and FC3 since I want to test at least =

two Linux distros before I kiss the blue screen goodbye and make a full =

swith over to Linux. I find it to be faster than FC3 for MS Office on =

Crossover Office, which I use more often at work. The only disadvantage =

is that I find more RPM support than Debian's dpkg support for =

commercial software, e.g., the Oracle DBMS is usually tested mainly on =

RPM-based distros only (SUSE, Mandr{iva | ake} and RHEL).
