[ILUG] FC3 & MP3

Could someone please give me a little faith regarding Playing MP3s with
FC3? I have downloaded all the software (gstreamer, xmms etc) I can put
I still can not play them. I got real player 10 and it is a load of
rubbish. I understand there is a legal issue and therefore a problem
with 'keys'. I'm new to linux so am not clued into the difference in
keys. Is it possible to get around them or do I have to subscribe to
somewhere?
