Well, I might download asteriskathome:

and give it a whirl with it, and see if I can get it to do something.

Yeah, I have noticed that on ebay lately, alot of vendors are 'selling
cheaply' and ripping people off on the postage. I saw one guy charging
£50 for Royal Mail first Class postage in the UK (!)

The install guide on the asteriskathome site says the clone cards often
lead to echoes on the line.
Also, can these clone cards be used for analogue handsets? Those Cisco
IP phones look nice but they are still a bit expensive! (Especially that
really nice color one they have out now..)
