Response time isn't an issue. I wouldn't mind someone having to wait a
day or two before they were automaticly approved. If they're manually
approved, people may feel the need to prove themselves. I think
encouraging people should be a fairly high priority, and moderator
approval doesn't help cast the impression of an inclusive community.
