What do you plan on doing after you've formatted the disk? Most OS
installers have the capability to do this. I'm curious however, as to
what you planon doing with it, if you (a) have no OS, and (b) seem to
have no way of putting an OS on it(if floppy and cdrom are broken).
To answer your question, I think the command you need most is help.
Failing that, try pressing tab twice. It's a long time since I used
the grub shell, so this may be wrong.
