[ILUG] CUPS problem

One of my users gets the following error when trying to print from KDE to the 
printers on the print server.

cupsdoprint -P 'LaserJet' -J 'file:/' -H 'localhost:631' -U 'arianna' -o '
copies=1 multiple-document-handling=separate-documents-collated-copies
orientation-requested=3' '/tmp/kde-arianna/kdeprint_hXQlKHd6' : execution
failed with message:

When I log in as another user it prints fine. Also I notice that print to pdf 
throws a similar error whereas print to postscript file works OK.

Any ideas?
