I subscribe to the mailing list to be able to ask questions and get
answers and also be asked questions and give answers. If someone CC's
someone instead of just replying to the list a lot of the time the
CC'ed person only replies to the sender and it ends up being a one on
one conversation off list. Then the answer never gets posted or
sometimes one person replies to the person who sent while the other
replies to list... then we only hear half the conversation... this is
a mailing list, send mail to it and reply to it, that's what it was
designed for !
