Blue is a very boring colour all the same and I think it would have to be a middling size geek who didn't mind a bit of farscape and dr. Who too - Xfce is a non-negiogiable though. Desktops are too messy!
Pity I missed the start of this war and hope that I can just jump right in and get me some attention too! (Especially now that the exams are corrected and I've all summer to worry about geeky things.)
Did someone mention Pascal? Ah, Pascal! Lovely teaching language - and could well be brought back to teach algorithmics before students get confused by widgets and hash includes.
