[ILUG] Wireless question

[ILUG] Wireless question

I ran a wireless link between to computers through 2 walls
(no steel in the walls) at a distance of about 20 feet
and lost about 65% of signal strength, one computer was
a laptop so the pcmcia card may not have had a great aerial.
Also different products may give different results.
At 2.5GHz line of sight is very important.

Regards
Philip
