I don't believe that most of you have any comprehension of the scale
of the problem. ILUG receives upwards of 2,000 attempted emails per
day; the vast bulk of these are spam and viruses, rejected
automatically. The occasional spam gets through, because I don't
want things set too strictly due to concern about false positives
(the only perfect spam filter is /dev/null). It is simply not
feasible to introduce a manual moderation system on this list.
