Isn't the number of spams that get in so low that we shouldnt really
worry about this...
Some spam and junk will always get through.
We could I suppose add a header so people could filter out non-member
posts at their discretion. I would say that even the work for this is
justified only if enough people wanted it. (web poll?)
Or list members could also use their own filters (i'm trying out
thunderbird's 'bayes' type filter atm)
However, with this as with closed lists isn't there still the possiblity
of spam and 'sour' content. (comprimised machines of members and heated
flames or tourette suffering members, etc ).
Personnaly I think the current system works, copared to anything else it
works very well imo. I can deal with the insignificant amout of crap we
get in a similiar manner to the topics and threads i am not interestd
in, with a quick click of the delete or junk button. :)
