because it is more stable.

because it just works.
because there is more to recommending an operating system, especially for
commercial use, than just happening to like it.
I happen to like BeOS but you wouldn't catch me using it instead of a linux
box because Linux is more stable, has far better support and is open

Again there is more reasons for being subscribed to the Irish Linux Users
Group's mailing list than having an emotional attachment to the operating
system.
Perhaps you should have qualified what you meant by the word 'like'.
