Hi folks,
Has anybody any idea why, on SuSE 9.3, if I change the old ATI graphics card for an NVIDIA graphics card,
the /etc/sysconfig/display manager file seems to get over written?. The next time the pc is booted up with the NVIDIA driver installed, kde wont run, some other window manager runs instead. If i kill this manager & enter " startx kde" kde will runbut some kde apps won't run. I can fix the problem by editing the display manager, but was wondering if this is a bug in X or SuSE9.3 that others have seen
Thanks
Pat
