To be fair, he draws some of that attention to himself very often. This

To me, having that in your weblog's heading is drawing attention to the
subject...
Personally, I do find his reflections on software interesting. But he
seems to be going out of his way to make remarks about guns just far too
often. Or far too often for me, anyway... O:)
