[ILUG] MySQL mixing versions

[ILUG] MySQL mixing versions

Niall O Broin niall at makalumedia.com
Thu Sep 15 09:22:03 IST 2005

Can a program built with MySQL API ver. A.B.C connect to a MySQL server
running ver. D.E.F. for all values of D.E.F. > A.B.C. or does there
come a point, with a sufficiently large delta, where this will not
work?

I have asked Uncle Google, but he was not very informative, apart from
finding people asking more or less the same question.
