Put :
alias net-pf-10 off
in /etc/modules.conf to disable IPV6.

How is the Linux box set up? Do you get your IP via DHCP, or is it set
statically? Does the Windows install work the same way (either DHCP or
static)? What are the IP addresses of both Linux desktop and the cayman
router? Also, send the output of the following commands to the list :
ip addr
ip route
iptables -L
If iptables isn't installed, don't worry about the last one.
