[ILUG] GPRS access via bluetooth on o2 - Why bother?

[ILUG] GPRS access via bluetooth on o2 - Why bother?

Presumably the usefulness of this is that you can avail of (relatively)
cheap (weekend, say) tariffs to go on-line wireless-ly with laptop?

Do the providers not exclude internet dial-up numbers from their cheap
tariffs?

(I ask cos I have 1000 free minutes per month from Vodafone - must check
small print - anyway I dont have a laptop!).
