the program `sax2' is a SUSE-only thing.
I doubt fixing the problem is SUSE-only capability,
just that the method differs.
however, the only other system where _I_ know how
(or more correctly, think I can recall how) to fix
it is old-old-SCO's Unix (pre-Novell), which is of
no help here ..... ;-(
