*Role* : Unix and Web Application System Administrator



NewBay require an experienced Unix Systems Administrator to deploy and
maintain Java based web applications for Tier 1 mobile careers.  The
candidate should have experience of deploying large scale, customer
orientated services. Problem solving, ability to rapidly grasp new
technologies and a thorough understanding of mission critical architectures
are essential. The role will involve administrating and interfacing with
large and growing range of technologies and therefore breadth of knowledge
is very important.



*Required Skills Set*:



   - Unix/Linux OS system administration. (Solaris experience an
   advantage)
   - Apache
   - Tomcat
   - Scripting
   - Internet technologies
   - Networking



*Optional Skills *

   - SANs
   - Veritas
   - F5 load balancers
   - Nagios
   - Big Brother
   - Sun hardware
   - Visio
