[ILUG] [OT] D-Link and NTP

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the point that D-Link have
completely ignored the two restrictions he has put on the use of the
server i.e. the service area and the access policy. Also, D-Link have
hard coded the name of the server into the firmware of their devices
so that it's now too late to change it. In my opinion that's
disgraceful behaviour. Filtering the packets at the server or wherever
shouldn't have to be done because D-Link should not have been using it
to start with but even if this approach is used won't the packets make
it all the way to the server and hence he still has to pay for the
bandwidth ? So we're still at the problem of him having to pay money
which he wasn't paying because of D-Link.
