Hi all,
As the subject says, I'm having problems setting up a Bugzilla DB
server.
I've gone thru' the installation of FC 5 (choosing the web server option)
and included the MySQL package at install time. Everything was grand (from
what I could see) and the system is working fine.
When I downloaded the Bugzilla tarball in to usr/local and ran the
'./checksetup.pl --check-modules' it showed that there were a number of
prerequisites missing so I ran 'perl -MCPAN -e 'install "Bundle::Bugzilla"'
as recommended by the docs.
Herein lies the problem. 'make' could not be found on the system so CPAN
could not do it's thing. So I installed it from the SRPM files that were on
the FC 5 CD's, however this has not cured the problem.
Here are the last few lines of the output:
----
CPAN.pm: Going to build A/AB/ABW/Template-Toolkit-2.14.tar.gz
-- NOT OK
Running make test
Can't test without successful make
Running make install
make had returned bad status, install seems impossible
----
make -v
GNU Make 3.80
Copyright (C) 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
...
- What other rpm's must I install in order to complete the installation?
- Should I have chosen the 'developer' option when installing FC 5?
Any help gratefully accepted....
