It means all mail to your domain will be forwarded to a specific (other)
address.

I'd guess the mail.eircom.net entry for outgoing mail was mistakenly put
in as your mail handler --- from the description above, there should be
the name of a euroDNS host to accept mail for your domain.  That machine
would then have foo at gayleard.com go to other at address.com.
