brendan's already given the answer I would have given as well.

but - I looked at http://www.gayleard.com/ (/huge/ photo there, by the way), 
and noticed that were a lecturer in elliptic curves, as well as a coder, and 
just thought I might mention that Firefox probably has need of you to help 
solve this bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13944

currently, I'm assigned to it, but I'm kind of at a loss how to address it.

basically, the problem is how to draw dashed elliptical curves efficiently. 
any ideas you have on it would be helpful.

this is probably off topic to ILUG, but then again, what's on-topic to it, 
these days ;-)
