Hi all,
I don't want to start a huge debate but I'm looking for some advice on
building a little home server. I's sick of the driver trouble I'm having
with my amd 64 with Nvidia chipset, I have been trying to install gentoo
on it but for some reason I'm have real trouble with drivers and it is
giving me the royal hump.
I'm lookin for a machine that is better with drivers for Linux. I build
the machines so just a list of chipsets and components is perfect.
I'm not lookin for anythin fancy, just a machine for ftp and downloading
stuff and serving my home network. If anybody is gettin rid of a machine
that can do that, I would be interested in looking at it.
Thanks
Les
