I'm afraid it's not a registered charity. From what I understand a group
needs to be up and active for a year before you can apply to be a
charity. Camara has only been set up recently, so can't apply to be a
charity, just yet.
However Camara is working with UCD Volunteers, a charity organisation
within University College Dublin. To prove we're not a load of
chancers, you could ask Dr. Joe Carthy of the Computer Science
department. He knows us. :)
