A bank I use — which is not Irish and which, for
the moment, I won't name — very clearly asks on
its WWW site to send to a particular e-mail *all*
phishing attacks claiming to come from that bank.
I've tried to do this twice. Both times my report
was bounced bank for the reason “this looks like
spam” .... *sigh* well, YES, it is spam! Then,
when I e-mailed them pointing out the problem, I
got, in reply .... nothing. nil. ziltch. I've
not tried another report since then so I dunno if
they fixed the problem or not, but somehow, I am
uninclined to bother going to the trouble again.
cheers!
