Wow... what a well documented project! A lot of internet cafe type
solutions, both commercial and what I see on freshmeat, are geared
towards a client lockdown approach or having a "dj" sit and knock
people off. Squid just seems like an obvious way to block web if the
validity of a proxy auth can (or can be made) expire after a period of
usage.

Hmm... radius never came to mind at all...

I don't percieve that to be a problem, can do ip address acl
manipulation without having to restart squid (or at least my memory
tells me so), so i don't believe any other acl is going to be
different. From what I remember, we used to samba share the acls to
sub-admins and have them manipulate them by hand at will at a company
I was in about 8 years ago... Hopefully its not a case of wishful
memories!
